Organisers behind Britain's iconic Glastonbury festival have quashed rumours Adele is set to headline the 2015 event.
Emily Eavis, daughter of the festival's founder Michael Eavis, has spoken out to silence rumours the soul singer will make a rare appearance at the three-day music extravaganza in England in June (15).
She denied the rumour but insisted she would love Adele, who has been out of the limelight since 2013, to make an appearance at the event.
Eavis tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "That's not true, that's the only denial I will do. I would love Adele. To have Adele would be a complete dream, but she's not going to be here this year."
Rockers Foo Fighters were confirmed earlier this week (ends22Feb15) as Friday night headliners. The other big names to top the bill at this year's event are yet to be announced, but rumours suggest Florence and the MAChine and Coldplay are hot favourites.
