Adele's new romance has been given the seal of approval by her 70-year-old grandmother.
The British singer has been in a relationship with charity boss Simon Konecki, 37, for several months, after famously writing about her heartache and broken romances in her hit records, 19 and 21.
Adele's grandmother, Doreen Adkins, has now spoken out about the singer's new love, insisting she is pleased to see the 23-year-old Grammy winner happy at last.
She tells Britain's The Sun, "I'm over the moon she's found love, so is my daughter, Adele's mum - the whole family's happy for her. We all hope it lasts. I'm just so pleased she has both her work and love life now sorted out."
Adele professed her love for her grandparents by giving them a special credit on 19, calling them "the original romantics".
