Australian rocker-turned-music manager Vincent Lovegrove has been killed in a road crash.
The 64 year old died on Saturday (24Mar12) after his van crashed in the village of Federal, near Byron Bay, New South Wales.
Lovegrove shot to fame as part of 1960s pop group The Valentines with late AC DC frontman Bon Scott, and he was credited with introducing the singer to his future rock bandmates.
He went on to work as a music journalist before turning to management in the 1970s, briefly looking after Ac Dc, as well as Cold Chisel and The Divinyls.
Lovegrove later become a campaigner for Hiv-aids awareness after losing both his wife and son to the disease.
