Abbey Clancy is expecting her second child.

The 28-year-old model tweeted the announcement, revealing she is ''super excited'' to be pregnant again with her husband, Peter Crouch's, baby, following the birth of their daughter Sophia in 2011.

Taking to her Twitter account, she wrote: ''Super excited to announce Pete and I are expecting our second baby ! We couldn't be happier (sic).''

Her 33-year-old husband - who she wed in a lavish ceremony in June 2011 - also took to the social networking site to express his joy and confirm the news.

He said: ''We are expecting baby no 2 woo hoo (sic).''

After revealing the news to her fans, the star - who won BBC contest 'Strictly Come Dancing' in December last year with her professional partner Aljaž Škorjanec - has been congratulated by fellow stars including former 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' contestant Melanie Sykes.

The blonde beauty has previously admitted her beau is hoping to have a son and described motherhood as her ''biggest achievement''.

In an interview from June, she said: ''Becoming a mum's my biggest achievement and I've loved every second of it. Every day it gets better. Sophia's so clever it's beyond belief,

''We both want lots more children, I think soon. Pete's very family-orientated but he's surrounded by women most of the time at home, so he needs a boy now otherwise he'll turn into a girl!''
