The loss of Paula Abdul has apparently not affected the ratings of American Idol one bit. The Fox talent show attracted 26.05 million on Tuesday night and 26.72 million on Wednesday -- on a par with its numbers a year ago and once again far outpacing its rivals. Somewhat surprisingly, CBS performed well on Tuesday despite airing repeat episodes of its hit lineup of NCIS (14.06 million viewers), NCIS Los Angeles (12.33 million), and The Good Wife (9.59 million). ABC, on the other hand, saw its numbers plummet as it averaged just 3.11 million viewers for the night. It's Better of Ted looked just about dead with only 2 million.
