Forget Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien, and David Letterman. The real champion in late-night television is now ABC's Nightline . For the week of January 25, the news magazine anchored by Cynthia Mcfadden, Terry Moran and Martin Bashir led among total viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. Nightline 's victory came while both CBS's Late Show with David Letterman and NBC's The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien were airing reruns, and all three shows posted unimpressive results. Nightline attracted 3.94 million viewers; Late Show, 3.65 million; and Tonight, 2.39 million.
