Australian hip-hop pioneer Hunter has died after a long battle with cancer.
The rapper - real name Robert Hunter - was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2009 and passed away this week (beg17Oct11).
Hunter is credited as one of Australia's first high-profile rap stars and he was previously a member of hip-hop group the Syllabolix Crew (Sbx), which featured artists such as Drapht, Dazastah, and Layla.
He released four albums during his career, and was reportedly working on a charity record, in aid of a youth cancer organisation, at the time of his death, according to Australia's ABC News.
