The two-hour series finale of Fox's 24 Monday night drew better ratings than it had all season long, but clearly the show had seen better days. It averaged 8.85 million viewers, peaking in the final half hour with 9.62 million. Of course, it had to battle against some heavy-duty competitioin, namely the season finale of ABC's Dancing With The Stars , which drew an overwhelming 19.08 million viewers at 8 00 as well as the season closers of CBS's comedy lineup, including the 9 00 p.m. sitcom leaders Two and a Half Men (15.37 million viewers) and The Big Bang Theory (14.78 million).
