TV mogul Aaron Spelling's widow CANDY has hit back at reports she scuppered daughter TORI's plans to produce a tribute to her late father by refusing to allow her access to his vaults. BEVERLY HILLS, 90210 star Tori is said to be devastated by her mother's decision not to let her have footage of the famous TV shows her father created for a planned tribute. The snub comes after weeks of reported feuding between the Spellings, which began when Tori told US media outlets she was not told about her father's death on 23 June (06) by family members. That was followed by claims that Tori would receive less than expected in her father's will because of her bitter relationship with her mother. Candy has always insisted none of the reports and claims are true, and is now fighting rumours she blocked the release of family archives to her daughter for a planned ABC TV special this autumn (06) - just to be awkward. In a statement released yesterday (08AUG06), Candy's spokeswoman wrote, "She sincerely felt the timing was not right." Candy has, however, agreed to allow NBC bosses to plunder her husband's archives for a tribute they're planning during the upcoming Emmy Awards telecast.
