Aaron Neville is serving up a special Christmas gift to his fellow New Orleans residents - he'd giving a chunk of cash from sales of his new holiday album to the ongoing Hurricane Katrina relief effort along America's Gulf Coast.
Neville was devastated after the August (05) storm wreaked havoc on his home city and has since appeared on a number of US TV telethons designed to aid victims.
And now he's doing something personal to help charity workers restore the city's former glory.
Proceeds from the singer's CHRISTMAS PRAYER album will go directly to the Red Cross.
The festive album, which is released this week (ends07OCT05), features holiday classics including White Christmas and THE FIRST NOEL.
