Singer Aaron Carter Has Blamed A Hernia And Anxiety Attacks For His Recent Weight Loss After Critics Took Aim At His Skinny Frame.
The I Want Candy star went on a lengthy Twitter rant on Sunday (22Nov15), responding to social media users who discussed his slender frame on the microblogging site.
"The way people talk about my weight is like high school times a million," Aaron tweeted to his followers. "Yes. I'm skinny right now. I've been very stressed and going thru (sic) some s**t and felt like I needed to explain myself cause so many people are asking me and talking about me being too f**king skinny... I have been really stressed out and I have a stupid medical condition called a hiatal hernia."
The condition occurs when part of the stomach pushes upward through the diaphragm. A large hitatal hernia can lead to heartburn, but in more serious cases, can sometimes require surgery.
"When I stress I have no f**king appetitive (sic) and I smoke too many f**king cigarettes and now I feel like I needed to explain myself," Aaron continued. "It's kinda hard being me... Everyone's been talking about it and I can't even post videos or take pictures without feeling self conscience (sic) and it f**king sucks."
Aaron went on to admit he also suffers from anxiety, writing, "I suffer from a s**t ton of anxiety... Anxiety sucks and can be weird as f**k... I changed and grew up and I look different it's annoying as f**k dealing with that too my world is enflamed in judgement."
He concluded his post by thanking his fans for their support, insisting he felt the need to "express myself a little", and added, "I go through s**t like everyone else... nothing wrong with that."
