The son of late rap legend NOTORIOUS B.I.G. had a taste of fame on Thursday (08Jan09) when he rang the opening NASDAQ bell to commence trading in the New York stock market.
Twelve year old Christopher Wallace Jr., who plays a younger version of his own father in new biopic Notorious, was accompanied by his grandmother, Violetta Wallace, as he carried out the honour.
But Wallace Jr., who was just four months old when his dad was gunned down in 1997, struggled to wake up to attend the ceremony - after a late night celebrating the release of the film at its Big Apple premiere on Wednesday (07Jan09).
The youngster's mother, singer Faith Evans, tells MTV, "He didn't want to get up that early, but I'm like, 'Uh-uh, baby, you go to work. You want fame? Fame costs."
